I need a printer cable usb to parallel mini centronics for a HP laserjet 1100 printer.?
If you own a fairly new Notebook PC like our 2 DELL Notebook PCs (INSPIRON E1505/6400 and DELL LATITUDE D620) that no longer have a parallel port, then only the USB to PARALLEL PRINTER ADAPTER will print from such newer Notebook PC via USB port to an HP Laserjet that accepts a parallel interface.
FYI we did not have any problems printing initially when we got our BELKIN F5U002 USB Parallel Printer Adapter and it worked fine, but later something happened and even DELL TECHNICAL SUPPORT was lost but I had to query BELKIN and they gave me a full page of step by step guidelines where you have to go to CONTROL PANEL, HARDWARE DEVICES, then USB to make sure the USB port is set up properly for printing.
