PCL XL ERROR HP 4350N Laserjet pcl 6 Printer?
I am at work and trying to print to an HP 4350n printer. It usually works fine. but, when i trying to print number of copies it proccess one copy of print and after that copy it is print one page with error, I get a page that says this:
PCL XL error
Subsystem: KERNEL
Error: IllegalOperatorSequence
Operator: EndChar
Position: 245
I get this error most often when I am trying to print any thing, Can someone please help me ASAP and tell me why this is happening and how to make it stop?!
Right here we go. We had this problem at work while using XP it turned out to be fixed by a few different things.
1st was The driver PCL 6 has been written in differnet code to the PCL5 before it so this can and does cause lots of conflicts and errors! So to solve this we roled back to PCL5 driver whisch solved most issues
A few more where then solved by installing service pack3.
And the last one we had was to do with user permisions to the printer. but i doubt if your using a home machine that this will effect you as all home users are normally administrator by default
